Orphanage Is 10 Years Old!

The orphanage that BMP supports just turned TEN YEARS OLD! To help Burundi Miracle Project give a BIG BIRTHDAY GIFT to the orphans of Burundi on November 28, 2023, we are inviting you to join us on GivingTuesday, November 28, 2023, by donating to help its founder, Mama Georgette, celebrate ten miraculous years by completely funding the program for 2024. It’s our way of encouraging her and the staff in Burundi to KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Your support will make a difference. Consider:

~Fact: Burundi, the size of Rwanda and directly South of it, is the poorest, hungriest country in the world.

~Fact: Fifty percent of the population is under age eighteen, and most have lost parents or family members to disease, malnutrition, and genocide. 

~Hope: Since 2013, thirty-nine orphans have not been trafficked, arrested, or conscripted into rebel armies.

~Hope: Today, twenty-one children live at the orphanage.

~Outcome: Two of the orphans who have “aged out” of the home have returned as employees.

~Outcome: Fifteen of the children have been reunited with their families and receive nutritional and educational scholarships. 

~Long-term Impact: The emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of these children are profoundly and lovingly met.

~Long-Term Impact: These children have been given the tools to become faithful followers of Jesus Christ, good citizens and employees, neighbors, husbands, wives, and parents.
